Through this window of self reflection I stand looking at the person looking back at me. I know his name... I know his history.... I know his strengths.... I know his weaknesses....I even know his fears.....Yet a stranger is he....There is so much of him still hidden away, camouflaged by life's clutter.
Sounds like you're teetering on the brink of discovery. Peeling the onion is a difficult job, sometimes smelly, sometimes makes you cry. Always worth it though, 'cause I just love onions! I'm big on getting rid of stuff too. My life runs a little smoother that way. When you do connect with the man in the reflection, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at what a nice man he really is.
It sounds to me like you're about to get efficient. You're about to simplify things; bring them down to brass tacks. You're about to clear the clutter–mental or otherwise.

What a beautifully evocative way to describe all those things we let stand in our way; those things that keep us hidden, even from ourselves. Beautiful.
